Putting in a pool is really several jobs stacked together: excavating and prepping the hole, setting and backfilling the pool, and building the deck around it. Where a lot of homeowners get burned is when those pieces are split across separate companies that each blame the other when something settles or drains wrong. We handle it as one crew.
We install fiberglass inground pools and we build the concrete deck that goes around them. Because we own our excavation equipment and our trucks, we dig the hole, set the shell, backfill and grade, and pour the deck without handing the site off. That control over the whole sequence is what keeps the deck from settling, the drainage running the right way, and the finished job tied together instead of pieced from three contractors' schedules.
Fiberglass Pools and the Decks Around Them
Our pool line is fiberglass — factory-built shells that go in faster than a poured-in-place pool and have a smooth, durable, low-maintenance surface. We're locally owned out of Belleville, and we handle the excavation, the set, the backfill, and the surrounding concrete ourselves.
The deck is where being a concrete contractor really pays off. A pool deck takes constant water, sun, bare feet, and freeze-thaw, so it has to be slip-resistant, properly sloped to drain away from the pool, and built on a base that won't settle.
